This text specifies the conditions under which you can activate and use the JorGo electric scooter.

You must return the JorGo electric scooter at the end of the rental period in the same condition as when activated.

Dismantling, modification, repair, damage to the JorGo electric scooter, incl. locks, equipment, scooter stickers are prohibited and will result in a fine.

The activation and use of the JorGo electric scooter is at your own risk. Responsibility for damage to the electric scooter lies with the user who rented it.

When using the JorGo electric scooter, the user who rented it bears responsibility for injuries or property damage caused to people or objects around you.

Compensation for expenses related to your negligence or willful damage is covered by the user who rented the electric scooter at the time of the damage.

The user is responsible for any fines, damage to third parties and their property or prosecution that appeared when renting JorGo electric scooters.

The person representing JorGo may claim compensation (if any caused by you) or any other costs associated with it.

JorGo has the right to charge you fines for violations when using the JorGo electric scooter:

JorGo fines

  • parking of an electric scooter JorGo in prohibited areas (private areas, parking lots for motor vehicles, the territory of residential complexes, etc.);
  • failure to deactivate and fix the JorGo electric scooter in the correct position on the footboard after the end of the trip;
  • Departure of the JorGo electric scooter outside the permitted zones, marked in the JorGo application, for a distance exceeding 1 kilometer - a fine of 250 hryvnia for each fact of such departure;
  • Carriage of another person on an electric scooter JorGo or a load on an electric scooter JorGo weighing more than 125 kilograms - 500 UAH;
  • Damage to an electric scooter JorGo as a result of jumping on it, deliberate collision with the edges of the carriageway at speed, etc. - a fine of 500 UAH and compensation for damages for repairs, depending on the type of damage. Day of downtime of a non-working scooter UAH 500;
  • Theft or attempted theft of a JorGo electric scooter - a fine of 25 000 UAH.

Termination of your use of the JorGo electric scooter does not terminate this lease agreement between you and JorGo.

JorGo app

You have access to JorGo electric scooters only through the JorGo application published in the App Store and Play Store.

By using the JorGo program, you agree to the terms of use.

To start renting, you need to register with a valid phone number.

The personal information you provide when registering in the JorGo app will be collected and used only in accordance with the terms of this agreement and privacy policy.

Terms of Use

To rent a JorGo electric scooter, you must be at least 18 years old.

It is allowed to rent a JorGo electric scooter only if you are familiar with the operation of JorGo electric scooters.

Do not ride the JorGo electric scooter if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication, which may impair your ability to safely operate the JorGo electric scooter.

The weight on the JorGo electric scooter must not exceed 125 kg.

It is forbidden to transport another person on the JorGo electric scooter.

Before using the JorGo electric scooter, you need to independently check the readiness of the scooter for operation and inspect for visible damage:

  • the wheels are aligned;
  • working brakes and lights;
  • frame in good condition;
  • there is enough battery power for the intended use;
  • there are no signs of damage, unusual or excessive wear, or obvious mechanical problems.

If technical problems arise with the JorGo electric scooter, you should immediately inform JorGo technical support using any of the available methods.

When using electric scooters, consider the weather conditions, the presence of other vehicles and pedestrians, as well as the conditions and obstacles on the road surface and footpath.

You are using the JorGo electric scooter on public roads and footpaths as permitted by law. You are responsible for determining whether the JorGo electric scooter can be used on a particular road or footpath, and for complying with any laws that apply to that use.

When using JorGo scooters, you must:

  • wear a bicycle helmet approved by Ukrainian law while riding the JorGo electric scooter;
  • use proper protective equipment to use the JorGo electric scooter;
  • comply with traffic rules and all laws regarding the driving, operation and parking of the JorGo scooter;
  • ride safely and politely towards other users of the road and footpaths;
  • use the JorGo electric scooter only in permitted areas;
  • do not use the JorGo electric scooter on dirt roads or places not intended for driving;
  • do not use the JorGo electric scooter on flooded roads and footpaths;
  • do not use any phone, portable music player or other device while riding the JorGo electric scooter;
  • do not use the JorGo electric scooter for any commercial purposes (including advertising) without the written permission of the JorGo administration;
  • Do not use the JorGo electric scooter for racing, mountain walks or stunts.
  • Do not ride the JorGo electric scooter holding a briefcase, backpack, bag or other object that may change the balance or otherwise impair the safe operation of the JorGo electric scooter. If you decide to hold any object in your hands while riding the JorGo electric scooter, you must make sure that they do not interfere with your safe operation of the JorGo electric scooter.

Charging the scooter JorGo

Electric scooter JorGo - requires periodic charging. As the charge in the JorGo electric scooter decreases, the speed and performance of the JorGo scooter may change or stop the scooter.

The rate of charge reduction on a JorGo electric scooter will depend on factors such as:

  • scooter JorGo, road and weather conditions;
  • distance and operating time before charging is required are not guaranteed;
  • You should check the available charge of the JorGo electric scooter before using it and regularly when using it;
  • If the JorGo electric scooter requires charging during the rental period.

You can stop using the electric scooter in accordance with this agreement (including parking the JorGo scooter).

Parking

  • You must deactivate the JorGo electric scooter at the end of the rental period in the permitted parking area without obstructing other road users and pedestrians;
  • you cannot park the JorGo electric scooter in closed residential complexes, closed areas, on the territory of private households, in closed rooms or in any other non-open place;
  • use the footrest when you park the JorGo electric scooter;
  • return the JorGo electric scooter to a public place within the parking zone displayed on the screen of your smartphone in the JorGo application;
  • end the rental from the app and fix the JorGo electric scooter after the end of your use provided by JorGo (the fee for using the JorGo electric scooter will accumulate until the JorGo electric scooter is blocked).

Emergencies, road accidents

  • You must inform the JorGo administration as soon as possible through the app or in any other possible way;

  • any damage, mechanical problem or malfunction of the electric scooter;
  • You must also report any accident related to the JorGo electric scooter;
  • The last renter of a lost or stolen JorGo electric scooter shall be held liable for the JorGo electric scooter unless there is substantiated evidence to the contrary. If you are the last renter of a lost or stolen JorGo electric scooter, the administration can provide your data to the police and claim damages from any person responsible for the loss or theft of the JorGo electric scooter.
  • In the event of an insured event, the injured person must apply within 3 days of the occurrence of the accident and provide a package of documents for consideration of the case within 30 calendar days.

User fees

  • The fee is calculated for the period of time during which you rent the JorGo electric scooter;
  • You are responsible for the fees that accumulate between the start of the JorGo electric scooter rental and until the moment when you have blocked and deactivated it;
  • If you have not blocked or deactivated the JorGo electric scooter, according to the rules, funds will be debited from you until the end of your balance;
  • When the electric scooter is activated, you will be charged for unlocking according to the tariffs specified in the application and on the website;
  • After activating the electric scooter, you will be charged for each minute of the trip.

Refunds

Partial refunds are not possible if your trip was successful. Only deposits that have not yet been spent or deposits that have been spent with faulty electric scooters can receive a refund.

Controversy

If you have any doubts about the use of the JorGo electric scooter or these conditions, you should contact the JorGo administration via the app or by e-mail. You and the JorGo administration agree to make every effort to resolve issues through good faith discussions.

If the dispute is not resolved through discussion, then you or the JorGo administration can submit the dispute to binding arbitration. The arbitration will only concern disputes between you and JorGo and will not provide for the resolution of any dispute or claim by any other person.

Nothing in this clause prevents the JorGo administration from seeking to recover money in accordance with these terms as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Other information

These terms and conditions may change from time to time. The amended terms will be published on the jorgo.com.ua website and available in the JorGo application.

The conditions published on the JorGo website when activating the JorGo electric scooter will be the conditions that apply to your use of the JorGo electric scooter.

If any of these conditions are illegal or unenforceable, then the illegal or unfulfilled conditions will be separated from this transaction. The agreement between you and JorGo (except for the limited clause) will continue in full force and effect.
